Where can I find the diffuser?
The Aire IQ Intelligent Dryer comes with three attachments, including a diffuser. When you unbox your dryer, you'll find the diffuser is in the lid of the packaging. Simply take the lid off the box, flip it upside down, and pull up the tab to reveal your diffuser.
Why isn't the Aire IQ recognizing my styling attachment?
Before using any of Aire IQ’s three included attachments (the Quick Dry attachment, Styling attachment, and Diffuse attachment), make sure you remove and discard the gray pull tab before connecting to your IQ base. Once connected, the dryer should recognize your selected attachment and update heat and speed settings accordingly.
How does the cool shot work?
The Aire IQ has a toggle switch cool shot, rather than a button you would press down. It is located on the front of the dryer just below the air nozzle. To activate the cool shot, slide the switch upward. The dryer will blow cool air until you slide the switch off, in the downward position. Please note, while using the cool shot in Manual Mode you will not be able to change the temperature setting on the dryer until the cool shot has been turned off.
How do I reset my Aire IQ?
To reset your Aire IQ back to factory settings, long-press the center control button until the Menu screen appears. Use the arrow buttons to select Reset, then press the center control button to confirm. You will receive a pop-up that reads "Confirm reset to original settings?" To confirm, press the center control button. The dryer will turn off, and when you power it back on the dryer will be reset.
Can I change the heat and speed settings?
To exit Heat ID on your dryer and use Manual Mode, simply use the arrows to select from 5 heats, 3 speeds, and the ion setting. Once you make these changes, the top of the hi-res screen will read“Manual.” Once in Manual Mode, if you wish to switch back to Heat ID, simply press the top arrow and you will seeHeat ID appear at the top of the hi-res screen again.
How does auto-pause work?
For your convenience, the Aire IQ dryer is engineered with an auto-pause sensor. When you set the dryer down, the compact sensor recognizes that you are no longer holding the dryer and the motor quiets as the airflow slows for a more pleasant experience. Once you pick up the dryer, the sensor will recognize it is in use and seamlessly power up the motor and produce the full airflow again.
How do I clean the filter?
After every 30 hours of use, the Aire IQ hi-res display will prompt you to clean out the filter. The filter on the dryer is located in the gold ring that is magnetically attached around the display screen. Simply remove the filter and gently clean the screen with your fingertips or a lightly dampened washcloth. Once any debris is removed, gently replace the filter, clear the cleaning prompt from the display screen and continue styling as usual.
