"Has the defect been fixed? The plates don’t clamp down on hair (I even have thick hair). It’s impossible to use even with the glove you have to hold it and get burned to close on your hair. I can’t return because it was a gift and past the return date. I’ve never bought a flat iron before that doesn’t close. T3 should give refunds or replacement product that works."
